Math
During this quarter 4, we had another assessment given. We are assigned to create a statistic graph about the survey we had in Bali. Before we had the assessment, we are given an introduction to statistic graph. The graph that we learned are pictogram, bar graph, line graph, and pie graph. From the assessment given, we are assigned to create 2 graph for each question of the survey. The survey are given to 20 people when we had a field trip to Bali. The theme of the survey was enhancing good quality of life. In this case, we need to ask people about their work and income to show how good is the quality of life in Bali. Another topic for math real life problem is Mortgage. In this assessment, we need to purchase a house, and choose mortgages that are offered by the bank. There are 4 mortgages offered by the bank, loan A,loan B,loan C,loan D. Every loan has different offer (Annual Interest Rate and points/down payment). Our objective is to choose the cheapest monthly payment to pay the loan for 10 years. We need to calculate the loan one by one to get the cheapest monthly payment. To calculate monthly payment, we were given a formula. The formula is accurate and simple. We used the formula to calculate the monthly payment faster and accurate. The easiest chart for me to analyze the data is Bar Graph. Bar graph shows the clearest data analyzed than other chart. The bar graph show what is being measured and how much quantities on what the bar graph is measuring. The bar graph show the message clearer than other graph since the are no complexion in analyzing the data.
Creating the graph is very useful and helpful when we are collecting data. Some of the examples of creating the graph to collect data are creating the graph of collecting the total number of citizen in an area, the profit or money received in a company, collecting the data of a visitor who come to a country, collecting the data of lower-class citizen, middle-class citizen, and high-class citizen. The graph is very useful because by looking at the graph of the data that are collected, it will be much easier for us to understand.
I did well in explaining the problem and solving it in the assignment. In result, I got 6 and 5 for the score of the 2 assignments. This resut shows how i did well in the assignment and my effecientcy in working on the assignment. I did well in explaining how I solve the problem of both assignment.
