Science
In Science, we learned about science method, rates, speed, ratio and soap experiment. After we done for all the subjects, we are assigned to make a reflection or science report. We also have a test that need to be done and need to be passes. The test requires some subject we have learned before. Science method were given in a presentation and it is easy to remember, rates, speed, and ration were given in a paper and we could fill in a blank for studying. After we all done with those materials, we have an experiment. It was a soap experiment. The experiment required soap, cup, digital scale, water, and a stopwatch. Me,Henry, and Jordaan were in a same group to do the soap experiment.
Science Method:
1.Observation
2.Objective
3.Hypothesis
4.Method
5.Experiment
6.Result
7.Conclusion
Soap Investigation
1.Objective: Which kind of soap powder dissolves the quickest in water?
2.Hypothesis: The cheapest soap will be the fastest dissolving in the water because it has bad quality, while the expensive soap will the slowest dissolving in the water because it has a good quality. Materials: 1. Detergent Measuring Cup 2. 3 kinds of detergent (Detersoff, Boom, Rinso) 3. 3 cups 4.200 ML of water (per cup) 5.Stop watch Methods: 1. Gather all the materials 2. Measure the amount of powder using digital scale
3. Measure the water with the measuring cylinder and beaker
4. Pour the water onto the cups and pour one of the powder onto the cup (which filled by the water)
5. Measure the time of the dissolving soap by stopwatch.
6. Measure the dissolving soap one by one until 3 times trial
7. Write down all the measuring time of the dissolving soap in a note.
First Trial
Rinso: 1 min 15 sec
Boom: 53 sec
Detersoft: 50 sec
Second Trial
Rinso: 1 min 11 sec
Boom: 51 sec
Detersoft: 53 sec
Third Trial
Rinso: 1 min 8 sec
Boom: 54 sec
Detersoft: 51 sec
