Civics: We had civics project for our Bali Field Trip. We learned Pancasila through Balinese life. We took some pictures in Bali, pictures of activities we had, and then we connect it with pancasila. Some pictures may have connection to Pancasila, and some pictures may not. I took some picture that have connection with Pancasila. We're not only taking pictures, but we also interviewed some local people to support the pictures explanation. At the end, we need to make picture presentation with slide show.
Technology: We had technology project in Bali. The project was to create documentation in Bali. We took video in every places we visited in Bali. As the result, we create a documentation, of places we visited in Bali. We used skills that were thought by our technology teacher for the documentation project, and that is why is not that hard to shoot video when we were in Bali. We compiled videos in a media called iMovie for mac. We edit movie to make better. We delete some video that aren't important and insert videos that important.
Biblical Study: We had Biblical Study project in Bali. The project was to interviewed local people about Balinese way of preserving the nature and culture in the midst of modern and foreign culture that have become the trend in the most big cities in the world. We need to take video while we were interviewing local people. From the result of my interview, Balinese people keep their culture in the midst of foreign culture by doing their rituals often. They keep doing it from long time ago, and that is why Balinese people keep strong their culture in the midst of massive foreign culture.
Music: We had music project in Bali. The project is to shoot some one in the group with a camera while they were playing Balinese traditional Instrument. We need to learned music instruments and interpret the meaning. We assingned my group member which is Adit to play and learned Balinese musc while we took a video of him playing Balinese music. At the end, we learned that balinese music express balinese culture because balinese music is an important role in Balinese culture.
Bahasa Indonesia: We had Bahasa Indonesia project in Bali. We will learn and analyze balinese life which affect their characters by having obeservation and interview with local people. We took picture, and create picture presentation. During field trip, these are our task to complete our project: Observing, interviewing, and analyzing which affect the character of Balinese culture, mindset, and actions of the people of Bali Balinese life . Take a picture related to the cultural influences in his life. Analyze and incorporate your knowledge through the presentation of images. Provide in-depth information in masyatakat Balinese cultural influence. Then, these are our assignment after field trip: Process and analyze all the data obtained. Prepare the presentation. Science: The project for our science class is creating video of glass blowing factory. We need to observe and interviewed people who work in the factory to full fill the criteria given. We need to know how does the system work, the source of energy used to create the glass, how effecient the energy used to create the glass, and some other factors that involved to the factory, such environment, political, or economic. But not only observing, we took a video while we were asking them question for it is the assignment of science class that we need to do.
English: We need to create newspaper for Bali Field Trip. I chose "Turtle Release" as the topic of my newspaper. This newspaper will be in the section of soft news, because it only explaining about class of 2017 releasing turtles as one of their activities at Bali. In this case, I need to interview the expert, interviewing questions that are related to my newspaper. For me, taking notes when interviewing the expert will be hard, so i use an alternative way, which is, took a video when i have an interview with the expert.It makes me easier when i write by Bali News Rough Draft Article.
Math: Students will do a survey and put the results into Graphical Presentation, at the end they must analyze the results also make a simple prediction for the future. We need to create list of question in the survey for our interview with local people. We spread the survey for 20 people as a group, but in the end, we need make our own graphical presentation. We also need camera to snap pictures while we were having interview with local people to be put in field trip video.

CAS Reflection
In the last day of our field trip in Bali, we cleaned the beach from trash that polluted the beach. We work together with local students to clean the beach together. Every SPHSC students has their own partner to work together to collect trashes and put it in the bin. My partner was Eka. We were working together to find and collect trashes that spread among the beach. We found and collected variety of trashes, from the small until big. From organic trashes until non-organic trashes. We put them together into one big black together. It was quite fun because we had opportunity to know some local students to become our friends and working together to accomplished a mission that had great influence to the surrounding environment.
By doing this activity, cleaning the beach from trashes, there were lots of benefits for the surrounding environment, the people that lived around the area, and for the beach itself.By cleaning the beach from the trash, we prevent the water contaminated by the trashes and also preventing living creatures that lived in the water contaminated by the trashes. By cleaning the beach, we make people who come to visit the beach feel convenient, since they could enjoy the beach free from trashes that polluted the beach. By cleaning the beach, we saved the beach from contamination that could endangered people lives.
From this activity, I learned that we need to save environment and take care of the environment, for by doing it, we could create a better environment for everyone to live, free from diseases. I learned that we need ti take care of the environment to prevent the world become worst. And I also learned that we don’t need to wait other people to save the environment, but we have to be the first to save the environment for other people goodness.
This activity increase my awareness to environment by showing me that cleaning the beach is very important for it could create a better world for people to live in. By doing this activity, my awareness towards environments are increasing because I know that by taking care of the environment, it means that we create a better world to live in.
Starting cleaning and taking care of the garden in the back of my house is one of my way to serve environment. By doing it so, I could create a better home and place for me and my family to live in.
